This Privacy Policy describes how and when VREX Lab Co., Ltd. (“VREX Lab”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our Services, as defined in our Terms of Service. VREX Lab receives your information through our Apps and/or websites, to which this Privacy Policy is posted.

1. Information You Choose to Provide Us

If you create an account, you will provide us with information that can be used to identify you, such as your name and phone number (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”). We may also collect non-identifying demographic information (such as your gender, age or date of birth), and other information that is not considered PII as it cannot be used by itself to identify you. To make it easier for others to find you, we may also ask you for additional information such as profile pictures or other useful information.
You will also provide us whatever information you send through the Services, such as a Kydy voice message to your contacts. Please exercise the common sense in sending any content, as your recipient may save, share, record or copy it outside the app

2. Information We Receive When You Use Our Services

We receive content you create on our Services, such as Kymoji and audio filter you use, and information about the content you create or provide, such as if the recipient has viewed the content and the metadata that is provided with the content.

Biometric Data
When using the Services, you may choose to provide us with Your Voice, Digital Voice, Digitally Modified Voice, or Digital Voice Messages (collectively, “Biometric Data”) in creating your content. We may receive this Biometric Data, along with the content, when you use the Services. Please note that Biometric Data may include, without limitation, data that may allow someone to identify/contact you and non-public data. Our purpose (“Purpose”) in collecting Biometric Data is to allow us to provide, maintain, improve, promote, and enhance our Services, technology and machine learning models. Please note that the Purpose may last for an indefinite time period. We will make our best attempt to abide by any local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations regarding biometric data, should you disclose yourself as a resident of the relevant jurisdiction. We place utmost importance in safeguarding the security of your Biometric Data and thus have implemented measures to help us protect such data. We will use reasonable care to guard against any unintended disclosure, access, and/or use of your Biometric Data.

In Kydy, we need to use phone numbers to find your friends. To do this, you give us authorization to access and store your contacts information from your address book on your mobile device (“Contacts”). We will use your Contacts in order to identify other Users that you may know and to provide you with suggestions for other Users with whom you may want to connect. Additionally, if you invite a Contact to the service by tapping invite beside their name, we will send an invitation on your behalf via SMS text message. This will include your name and sometimes the recipient’s name, along with a link to the app. You agree that the Contacts who you invite to Kydy are ages 13 or over and are eligible to sign up for Kydy. You may not, under any circumstance, invite individuals under 13 to sign up for Kydy.

Information Collected by Cookies and Other Technologies
We may use “Cookie” and other technologies such as web beacons, web storage, and unique advertising identifiers to collect additional information, including usage data to provide and improve our Services. VREX Lab may use both session Cookies and persistent Cookies to identify that you’ve logged in to the Services, to better understand how you interact with our Services, to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on our Services and to customize and improve our Services. Most Internet browsers automatically accept Cookies. If you do not want cookies, you can change your settings to stop accepting Cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the services you visit. However, some Services may not function properly if you disable Cookies.

Log Data
Our servers automatically record information (“Log Data”) created by your use of the Services. Log Data may include information such as pages viewed, your IP address, browser type, operating system, location, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, the Users with whom you interact, access date and time spent on features of the Services and other statistics and Cookie information. details about how you’ve used our services.
We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, for example, when you visit our websites, sign into our Services, use our Services, or interact with our email notifications. VREX Lab uses Log Data to provide our Services and to measure, customize, and improve them.

Information Sent by Your Mobile Device
We collect certain information that your mobile device sends when you use our Services, like a device identifier, user settings and the operating system of your device, as well as information about your use of our Services.

3. Information Usage

Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services. Specific ways we use is as follows:
● develop, operate, improve, deliver, maintain, and protect our products and services.
● send you communications.
● monitor and analyze trends and usage.
● personalize the services by, among other things, suggesting friends or profile information, or customizing the content we show you, including ads.
● contextualize your experience
● enhance the safety and security of our products and services.
● verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
● use information we’ve collected from cookies and other technology to enhance the services and your experience with them.
● enforce our Terms of Service and other usage policies.
● store some information locally on your device as local cache so that you can open the app and view content faster.
● use parts of your biometric data for limited time periods under circumstances that allow for development, enhancement and promotion of our technology and services.

4. Information Sharing

We will not share any PII that we have collected from you or that regards you except as described below:
Information Shared with other Users
● Any additional information you have consented for us to share.
● Any content you choose to send to other Users.
● Your name, gender, age and profile image
● Information about how you have interacted with the services, such as your “score,” the names of Users you are friends with, and other information such as mutual friends that will help other Users understand your connections with others using the services.

Information Shared with Service Providers
We engage third-party service providers to perform functions and provide services to us globally. These third-party service providers only have access to your PII for the purpose of performing services on our behalf and are expressly obligated not to disclose or use your PII for any other purpose.

Information Shared with Third Parties
We may share aggregated information and non-identifying information with third parties for industry research and analysis, demographic profiling and other similar purposes.

Information Disclosed for Our Protection and the Protection of Others
We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate: (i) to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas); (ii) to protect our property, rights and safety and the property, rights and safety of a third party or the public in general; and (iii) to stop any activity that we consider illegal, unethical or legally actionable.

Information Disclosed in Connection with Business Transfers
Information that we collect from our users, including PII, is considered to be a business asset. In the event that VREX Lab is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or if our assets are acquired by a third party in the event we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, some or all of our assets, including your PII, may be sold or transferred to a third party as part of that transaction. If any such event is deemed as imminent, or possible within a reasonably foreseeable timeline, we reserve the right to license, sell, or transfer such assets in advance of such transaction.

5. Your Choices

We offer you choices regarding the collection, use and sharing of your PII and we’ll respect the choices you make. Please note that if you decide not to provide us with the PII that we request, you may not be able to access all of the features of the Services.

6. Modifying Your Personal Information

If you are a User, we may provide you with account settings to access or modify your PII associated with your account, such as your profile picture, name, and phone number. If the functionality for modifying your account is not available you can contact us at with your request. There are limits to the requests we’ll accommodate. We may reject a request for a number of reasons, including, for example, that the request risks the privacy of other users, requires disproportionate technical efforts to the request, is repetitive, or is unlawful. Because your privacy is important to us, we may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we let you access or update your personal information.
Revoking Permissions. If you change your mind about our ongoing ability to collect information from certain sources that you have already consented to, such as your phonebook, you can simply revoke your consent by changing the settings on your device if your device offers those options. If you do that, certain services may lose full functionality.
You can also permanently delete your account or request that we delete your PII, by contacting us at We’ll take steps to delete your information as soon we can, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law.

7. The Security of Your Information

We take reasonable administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect the information that we collect from or about you (including your PII) from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.
We may collect your personal information from, transfer it to, and store and process it in the United States and other countries outside of where you live.
You can also permanently delete your account or request that we delete your PII, by contacting us at We’ll take steps to delete your information as soon we can, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law.

8. Links to Other Sites

Our Services may contain links to websites and services that are owned or operated by third parties (each, a “Third-party Service”). Any information that you provide on or to a Third-party Service or that is collected by a Third-party Service is provided directly to the owner or operator of the Third-party Service and is subject to the owner’s or operator’s privacy policy. We’re not responsible for the content, privacy or security practices and policies of any Third-party Service. To protect your information we recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of all Third-party Services that you access.

9. International Transfer

Your PII may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. If you’re located outside the United States and choose to provide your PII to us, we may transfer your PII to the United States and process it there.

10. Our Policy Towards Children

Our Services are not directed to or intended for persons under 13. We do not knowingly collect PII from children under 13.

11. Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. At times, we’ll let you know by revising the date at the top of the Privacy Policy that’s available on our website and mobile application. Other times, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our websites or providing you with an in-app notification). By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
